02.13.22 CT Children's Toy Drive

SNE Trail and Travel successfully hosted their first community event on Sunday, February 13th, 2022 in New Britain, CT.

Over 600 toys and donation items were collected by our team members, including stuffed animals, board games, puzzles, coloring cooks, crayons, Play-Doh, and over 200 matchbox cars! Additionally, $150 in cash donations was raised to benefit the Connecticut Children's Medical Center!

Thanks to the support and partnership from Amato's Toy and Hobby of New Britain, the Subie and You Podcast, and the 20 of our members that braved the cold - the southern New England community was able to support those in need.

UPDATE: On Wednesday, February 23rd, five of our members dropped off the almost 650 toys to an excited, welcoming group of hospital staff at the CT Children's receiving warehouse. SNE Trail and Travel would like to thank everyone once again for generously volunteering their time and meaningful donations!
